For a tree to become tall it must grow tough roots among the rocks.
– Friedrich Nietzsche

Lately, I’ve come to see my journey a little differently.
Not too long ago, I used to wonder if I was stuck. I mean, I had ideas. Dreams. The kind that made my heart beat faster just thinking about them. I’d imagine the talks I’d give, the healing space I’d build, the lives I’d touch. But on the outside? Everything looked… still. Like nothing was moving.
The truth is, I wasn’t stuck. I just didn’t fully understand the season I was in.
Now I do.
I’m not being delayed—I’m being prepared.
And let me tell you, once that clicked in my heart, everything felt lighter.
It’s like I’ve finally stopped fighting the flow of life and started learning how to float with it. And not just float aimlessly, but with presence. With trust. With deep knowing that what’s happening now—even the slow, quiet bits—is not wasted time.
It’s rooting time.
Think about it: a tree doesn’t shoot up toward the sky the moment you plant the seed. First, it digs deep. The roots stretch, they strengthen, they anchor. And that part? It’s invisible. No applause. No external validation. Just patient, quiet growth.
And honestly? That’s where I’m at right now. Rooting.
There’s something incredibly humbling and empowering about surrendering to this process. It’s not passive. It’s not giving up. It’s more like leaning in. Trusting that all the small steps, the deep reflections, the character-building days—they’re all adding up to something bigger than I can fully see right now.
I used to think success looked like big wins and quick results. But real success? It’s often quieter than that. It looks like showing up, even when no one’s clapping. Trusting your journey, even when it’s slow. Taking care of your mind, your values, and your vision—before anyone else sees the progress. Because the real magic happens behind the scenes, not just in the spotlight.
And that’s why I’m sharing this. Because I know I’m not the only one walking this slower, deeper path.
If you’re in that season too—where your dreams feel like they’re taking forever to unfold—I want you to hear this from someone who gets it:
You’re not late. You’re not doing it wrong. And you’re definitely not behind.
You’re growing roots.

The trees that are slow to grow bear the best fruit.
– Molière
And when the time comes for you to rise? You won’t just bloom.
You’ll stand strong. You’ll know who you are. You’ll move with purpose and peace. Because you’ve already done the inner work.
You’ve already shown up when it was just you and your intention.
And that, to me, is powerful beyond words.
So here’s what I’ll keep doing—and maybe it’ll resonate with you too:
I’ll keep writing, even if the post gets one view.
I’ll keep speaking, even if the room isn’t packed.
I’ll keep refining the vision, day by day.
I’ll keep showing up with heart, without rushing the outcome.
Because I trust now—deep in my gut—that the roots I’m building today are the reason I’ll be able to sustain the growth tomorrow.
And when that day comes—InsyaAllah—I’ll rise fully, freely, ready.
So to you, wherever you are on your journey: keep going. Trust the season you’re in. Don’t rush the rise. Root first, deeply and intentionally.
The breakthrough isn’t just coming.
You’re becoming the version of you that can carry it.
Now that alone, is worth every single quiet, unseen moment.
